Bombay: City of dreams

Thanks to NM, I discovered this amazing short film that captures the spirit of Bombay Bhel so well. It's the story of Ratanlal Gupta who, like so many millions of others, comes to Bombay with dreams of making it in the city. He starts a career selling bhel puri, like the character in my story Bhel Plaza. But along the way, he finds the picture isn't quite as rosy as it seemed...

Ratanlal says,

Sometimes, there are moments in life which break you down. There seems to be no way out. And just then, in some form or the other, you find your guardian angel.
This is Bombay.
