Light reading

I hadn't really intended for this blog to become a compilation of reviews, but it does look that way from the last few months of posts.

I've got a few novels on my "to read" list, but haven't been able to catch up with them lately. Instead, I've been re-reading a couple of childhood favorites: Asterix and Tintin comics. Asterix, in particular, never reached the height of popularity here in the US that it did in Europe and Asia. Its blend of history, outrageous characters, and awful puns is unmatched anywhere in the world of comics, in my opinion. If you haven't had the pleasure, you can probably find a few of the original comics at your local library. Check them out for a rainy (or snowy) day.
